Sandipta Chatterjee, a well-known face of television journalism in West Bengal, died on December 2, 2012. She was only 34. It was a deeply shocking loss for us. Sandipta started her career as a producer cum anchor with Tara News in 2005 and later that year she joined Star Ananda (now known as ABP Ananda) as a news anchor. She work there till her death. To commemorate her spirit, integrity and passion for news, her friends and School of Media, Communication and Culture, Jadavpur University have launched MEDIANEST. Medianest is a forum for discussion and nurturing new ideas. Sandipta would have loved to be a part of this. So let us connect and allow our thoughts to fly far and wide.
